Banishing dry feet with Soap & Glory Heel Genius

Although my feet will be tucked away in cosy socks and warm boots for months to come, it’s no excuse to forget about the upkeep. The cold winter weather doesn’t do anything for dry heels either so I wanted to share my hero product for super soft feet.
I’ve been through more tubes of Soap & Glory’s Heel Genius that I can count on both hands (and feet too probably!). This concoction of teal coloured cream softens my hard skin like nothing else. I like to maintain soft feet with a foot file once or twice a week alongside a cream and while rich body butters keep the moisture in, nothing else actively penetrates and softens like Heel Genius.
The formula contains glycerine, allantoin and fruit extracts to help moisturise dry skin. I was somewhat put off to read that this contains sulfates, particularly as I can’t see the need, but I’ve not noticed any irritation and I’ve used this for years. The cream is not overly thick but takes a while to sink in which I like as it feels really hydrating once you’ve applied and popped on a pair of cotton socks. It smells fresh and clean which is nice during application. Unlike many S&G products, it’s not really strong.
I apply this every night and every morning and try to wear socks for the best benefit but sometimes I sleep without. I’m always left with lovely and soft feet come morning. This isn’t the most hydrating cream but it does penetrate and soften hard skin like nothing else I’ve tried. Thus, for me, this is a hero product and a staple in my everyday routine.
Have you tried Soap & Glory Heel Genius or do you have another favourite foot cream?
